Project Description
The Signals & Communications division of PNR RailWorks modified the existing crossing-warning system in New Hamburg, Ontario, for the Goderich–Exeter Railway (GEXR).
Project Scope
Crews completed the wiring of signal housing and electronic train detection and recording that GEXR needed. They installed underground cable, foundations, signal masts, gates and lights. In addition, they removed a redundant system and commissioned the new system, which included pre-emption for active advance warning.
