Toronto Union Station Signal Upgrade

GO Transit has helped upgrade the signal system on the rail lines servicing Union Station in Toronto, Ontario. This work is part of a $200 million track and signal upgrade for Union Station, the busiest railway station in Canada. PNR RailWorks provided preliminary support by installing switch heaters and signal cable at Union Station.
PNR RailWorks completed preliminary project work, including installing switch heaters and associated ductwork. PNR RailWorks Signals crews also installed 16 miles of new cable, which enabled GO Transit to temporarily relocate signals and complete required modifications to the track infrastructure.
